We’re going to Poland (virtually!)

With the Europeen Jamboree this year in Gdansk, Poland being postponed to 2021, we’ve decided that as a district we’re going to hike there instead!

But we’re not just going there…. Oh no!… we’re going to all 9 of the Scout huts within out district first…. and then we’re visiting 10 jamborees in the UK… throwing a visit to Gilwell Park – The home of Scouting into the mix too… plus we will also visit Moot 2020 in Ireland, Jamborette in Belgium and NICES in The Netherlands before we finish our 2239 mile journey at the Europeen Jamboree in Poland!

But that’s too easy (!!) so there will also be challenges on the way!

The Walk to Poland 2020 is open to any Beaver, Cub, Scout, Explorer, Leader, Parent, sibling or relative from Atherstone District. Each person can log their miles using a simple google form.

When logging your miles, each participant logs their miles separately with their name, group and section.
